Female patient, 73 years of age, was diagnosed with urinary tract infection , renal failure chronic and was treated with Cefuroxime. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: gastrointestinal haemorrhage, granulocytopenia, multi-organ failure, sepsis , toxic epidermal necrolysis. Cefuroxime dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FUROSEMIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

Cefuroxime dosage: 500 MG; TWICE A DAY; ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with FUROSEMIDE, LISINOPRIL, CALCIUM CARBONATE. Patient died.
