Cefuroxime side effect was reported by a Physician from POLAND on Aug 17, 2007. Female patient, 16 years of age, weighting 110.2 lb, was diagnosed with tonsillitis and was treated with Cefuroxime. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood bilirubin increased, hepatomegaly, jaundice , purpura, transaminases increased. Cefuroxime dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
