Cefuroxim side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from GERMANY on Mar 02, 2009. Female patient, 61 years of age, weighting 189.6 lb, was diagnosed with bronchitis , depression  and was treated with Cefuroxim. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: clostridium difficile colitis, clostridium difficile toxin test positive, diarrhoea, fatigue, headache , pyrexia. Cefuroxim dosage: 500MG TWICE PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with OPIPRAMOL, SIMVASTATIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
