Ceftazidime side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Oct 05, 2005. Male patient, 53 years of age, weighting 167.6 lb, was diagnosed with pneumonia  and was treated with Ceftazidime. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: febrile neutropenia, pancytopenia, pneumonia , respiratory failure, septic shock. Ceftazidime dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CIPROFLOXACIN. Patient died on 07/19/2005.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arterial rupture, bronchopulmonary aspergillosis, haemoptysis, respiratory failure, venous haemorrhage. Ceftazidime dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ACYCLOVIR, AMIKACIN, FLUCONAZOLE, CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE, IDARUBICIN, VINCRISTINE, COLASPASE, DEXAMETHASONE. Patient died.

Ceftazidime dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ACYCLOVIR, FLUCONAZOLE, AMIKACIN, CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE, IDARUBICIN, VINCRISTINE, COLASPASE, DEXAMETHASONE. Patient died.
