Ceftazidime side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from AUSTRALIA on Aug 15, 2005. Female patient, 13 years of age, was diagnosed with staphylococcal infection  and was treated with Ceftazidime. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, blood pressure diastolic decreased, haemodialysis, nephritis interstitial, proteinuria, renal failure. Ceftazidime dosage: 500MG FOUR TIMES PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with GENTAMICIN, FLUCLOXACILLIN, PROBENECID, ALBUTEROL SULPHATE HFA, FLUTICASONE, TOBRAMYCIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Ceftazidime dosage: 2000MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with GENTAMICIN, HEMODIALYSIS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
