Ceftazidime side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from SAUDI ARABIA on Feb 08, 2008. Female patient, 64 years of age, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia and was treated with Ceftazidime. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blister, blood culture positive, cerebrovascular accident, diarrhoea, disease progression, ecthyma, endocarditis candida, erythema, fungal sepsis. Ceftazidime dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CIPROFLOXACIN, ISONIAZID, FLUCLOXACILLIN, RIFAMPICIN, PYRAZINAMIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

Patient recovered.
