Ceftazidime side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED KINGDOM on Oct 29, 2007. Male patient, 25 years of age, was diagnosed with eye infection  and was treated with Ceftazidime. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: condition aggravated, corneal perforation, disease progression, eye excision, hypopyon, iris disorder, keratitis, keratitis bacterial. Ceftazidime dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PENICILLIN G, CIPROFLOXACIN, NETILMICIN SULPHATE. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blister, blood culture positive, cerebrovascular accident, diarrhoea, disease progression, ecthyma, endocarditis candida, erythema, fungal sepsis. Ceftazidime dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CIPROFLOXACIN, ISONIAZID, FLUCLOXACILLIN, RIFAMPICIN, PYRAZINAMIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
