Ceftazidime side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on July 15, 2005. Male patient, weighting 143.0 lb, was diagnosed with osteomyelitis and was treated with Ceftazidime. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood culture positive, cardio-respiratory arrest, clostridium colitis, hypotension, infection , liver function test abnormal, neutropenia, oculocephalogyric reflex absent, pulse absent. Ceftazidime dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CEFTRIAXONE, GABAPENTIN, HEPARIN, LINEZOLID, METOPROLOL, METRONIDAZOLE, APAP. Patient died on 06/21/2005.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blister, blood culture positive, cerebrovascular accident, diarrhoea, disease progression, ecthyma, endocarditis candida, erythema, fungal sepsis. Ceftazidime dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CIPROFLOXACIN, ISONIAZID, FLUCLOXACILLIN, RIFAMPICIN, PYRAZINAMIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
