Cefpodoxime side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from FRANCE on Oct 19, 2007. Male patient was diagnosed with ear infection  and was treated with Cefpodoxime. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: haematoma, pallor, thrombocytopenia. Cefpodoxime dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with AMOXICILLIN, MEASLES. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 87 years of age, was diagnosed with bronchitis , atrial fibrillation , dyslipidaemia, hypertension, angina pectoris, dementia alzheimer's type, cough and was treated with Cefpodoxime. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: haematoma, international normalised ratio increased. Cefpodoxime dosage: DAILY DOSE:400MG. During the same period patient was treated with MINISINTROM, TAHOR, SECTRAL, COZAAR, CORVASAL, EXELON, RESPILENE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 62 years of age, was diagnosed with pulmonary embolism  and was treated with Cefpodoxime. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: face injury, fall , haematoma, international normalised ratio increased, mental disorder, subdural haematoma. Cefpodoxime dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PREVISCAN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
