Cefpodoxime Side Effects Report #5511795-8
Cefpodoxime side effect was reported by a Health Professional from SWEDEN on Oct 30, 2007. Female patient, 81 years of age, was diagnosed with upper respiratory tract infection and was treated with Cefpodoxime. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cold sweat, diarrhoea, syncope, vomiting. Cefpodoxime dosage: DAILY DOSE:400MG. During the same period patient was treated with VALSARTAN, OPTINATE SEPTIMUM, WARAN, ALLOPURINOL, LASIX, ISOPTIN, LANSOPRAZOLE, PREDNISOLON. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with DOLIPRANE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
