Cefpodoxime side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from on Mar 02, 2005. Male patient, 77 years of age, was diagnosed with gastroenteritis vibrio and was treated with Cefpodoxime. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , clostridial infection, diarrhoea. Cefpodoxime dosage: 200 MG PO BID. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 38 years of age, was diagnosed with bronchitis  and was treated with Cefpodoxime. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: clostridial infection, loss of consciousness, malaise, pyrexia. Cefpodoxime dosage: TEXT:200 MG COATED TABLETS. During the same period patient was treated with SURGAM, ACETAMINOPHEN, BRONCHOKOD. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
