Cefpodoxime side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on July 03, 2006. Male patient, 76 years of age, was diagnosed with prophylaxis and was treated with Cefpodoxime. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: c-reactive protein increased, hypoxia, inflammation, lymphocyte stimulation test positive, pneumonia What is  pneumonia, pulmonary alveolar haemorrhage. Cefpodoxime dosage: 200 MG, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with PIPERACILLIN, VALSARTAN, CILNIDIPINE, PREDNISOLONE, BUCILLAMINE, REBAMIPIDE, PROPAFENONE. Patient recovered.
