Cefpodoxime side effect was reported by a Physician from on Mar 25, 2005. Male patient, 70 years of age, was diagnosed with urinary tract infection What is  urinary tract infection, cerebral infarction and was treated with Cefpodoxime. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: benign prostatic hyperplasia, renal failure, urinary retention. Cefpodoxime dosage: 200 MG (DAILY), ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with EDARAVONE, LEVOTHYROXINE, FAMOTIDINE, ASPIRIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
