Cefpodoxime Side Effects Report #5386983-4
Cefpodoxime side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from FRANCE on July 09, 2007. Male patient, 35 years of age, was diagnosed with viral infection  and was treated with Cefpodoxime. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , asthenia, ear pain, fall , jaundice , liver injury, malaise, restless legs syndrome, tachycardia. Cefpodoxime dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ACETAMINOPHEN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, hepatitis . Cefpodoxime dosage: 400 MG, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ACETAMINOPHEN. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, bile duct cancer, biliary dilatation, effusion, hepatic fibrosis, hepatitis cholestatic, insomnia, liver disorder, productive cough. Cefpodoxime dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISONE, AMIKACIN, CEFTAZIDIME PENTAHYDRATE, OMEPRAZOLE, AMOXICILLIN TRIHYDRATE, MOMETASONE FUROATE, AMBROXOL HYDROCHLORIDE, AMLODIPINE BESYLATE. Patient died on 10/31/2004.
