Cefpodoxime side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from FRANCE on July 09, 2007. Male patient, 35 years of age, was diagnosed with viral infection  and was treated with Cefpodoxime. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , asthenia, ear pain, fall , jaundice , liver injury, malaise, restless legs syndrome, tachycardia. Cefpodoxime dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ACETAMINOPHEN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Cefpodoxime side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from on Mar 02, 2005. Male patient, 77 years of age, was diagnosed with gastroenteritis vibrio and was treated with Cefpodoxime. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , clostridial infection, diarrhoea. Cefpodoxime dosage: 200 MG PO BID. Patient recovered.

Male patient, child 3 years of age, weighting 30.86 lb, was diagnosed with ear infection  and was treated with Cefpodoxime. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , diarrhoea, pyrexia, tremor, vomiting. Cefpodoxime dosage: DAILY DOSE:80MG. During the same period patient was treated with DOLIPRANE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
