Male patient, 39 years of age, was diagnosed with meningococcal sepsis and was treated with Cefotaxime. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arthralgia, malaise, neutropenia, pyrexia, red blood cell sedimentation rate increased, skin haemorrhage, von willebrand's disease. Cefotaxime dosage: unknown. Patient recovered.
