After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: colostomy, convulsion, gastrointestinal disorder, learning disorder , malaise, meningitis meningococcal, mental impairment, metabolic acidosis, multi-organ failure. Cefotaxime dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 39 years of age, was diagnosed with meningococcal sepsis and was treated with Cefotaxime. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arthralgia, malaise, neutropenia, pyrexia, red blood cell sedimentation rate increased, skin haemorrhage, von willebrand's disease. Cefotaxime dosage: unknown. Patient recovered.
