Cefotaxime side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Jan 04, 2005. Female patient, 59 years of age, was diagnosed with ascites, sepsis
, malnutrition, agitation, varices oesophageal, portal hypertension and was treated with Cefotaxime. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: clostridium colitis. Cefotaxime dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with METRONIDAZOLE, THIAMINE, CHLORDIAZEPOXIDE, FOLIC ACID, LANSOPRAZOLE, SPIRONOLACTONE. Patient died on 12/13/2003.
