Cefotaxime side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Oct 03, 2006. Male patient, 15 years of age, weighting 132.3 lb, was diagnosed with brain abscess, pain , vomiting and was treated with Cefotaxime. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: body temperature increased, heart rate increased, nausea , rash . Cefotaxime dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with METRONIDAZOLE, BENZYLPENICILLIN, CIPROFLOXACIN, CODIENE PHOSPHATE, DEXAMETHASONE, IBUPROFEN, ONDANSETRON, ACETAMINOPHEN. Patient recovered.
