Cefotaxime side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on May 27, 2005. Male patient, 56 years of age, was diagnosed with pneumonia  and was treated with Cefotaxime. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arthralgia, eosinophilia, rash , transaminases increased. Cefotaxime dosage: unknown. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 39 years of age, was diagnosed with meningococcal sepsis and was treated with Cefotaxime. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arthralgia, malaise, neutropenia, pyrexia, red blood cell sedimentation rate increased, skin haemorrhage, von willebrand's disease. Cefotaxime dosage: unknown. Patient recovered.
