Cefixime side effect was reported by a Health Professional from FRANCE on Oct 27, 2003. Male patient, 80 years of age, was diagnosed with prostatitis, hypercholesterolaemia and was treated with Cefixime. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: renal failure acute, rhabdomyolysis. Cefixime dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CIPROFLOXACI, FENOFIBRATE, IBUPROFEN, CORVASAL, KARDGIC. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
