Cefixime side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from FRANCE on Jan 22, 2007. Female patient, 21 years of age, was diagnosed with pharyngitis and was treated with Cefixime. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cytolytic hepatitis, face oedema. Cefixime dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with SULFASALAZINE, LEVONORGESTREL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Cefixime side effect was reported by a Health Professional from FRANCE on Sept 14, 2006. Female patient, 44 years of age, was diagnosed with infection  and was treated with Cefixime. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dysphonia, erythema, face oedema, iatrogenic injury, pruritus, urticaria. Cefixime dosage: 400 MG 1X PER 1 DAY ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with NIFLURIL, FLUCONAZOLE, VEGETOSERUM, TEGRETOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
