Cefixime side effect was reported by a Physician from FRANCE on Mar 07, 2006. Female patient, 85 years of age, was diagnosed with bronchitis  and was treated with Cefixime. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, asthenia, clostridium colitis, inflammation, leukocytosis, pyrexia, weight decreased. Cefixime dosage: 400 MG DAILY; ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with MUCOMYST, IRBESARTAN, BISOPROLOL FUMARATE, ACETAMINOPHEN, CARBOSYLANE, RHINOFLUIMUCIL, OXOMEMAZINE, IBUPROFEN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory failure, anaemia, condition aggravated, international normalised ratio increased, overdose, pulmonary haemorrhage. Cefixime dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FENOFIBRATE, ATENOLOL, ZESTORETIC, OMEPRAZOLE, PREVISCAN, ZITHROMAX, ALLOPURINOL, STILNOX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

Cefixime side effect was reported by a Health Professional from BANGLADESH on Sept 11, 2008. Female patient, 40 years of age, was diagnosed with pain  and was treated with Cefixime. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, stevens-johnson syndrome. Cefixime dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with RANITIDINE, CEFTRIAXONE, AZITHROMYCIN, DICLOFENAC. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 08/21/2007.
