Cefepime side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from BRAZIL on Mar 01, 2007. Female patient, 49 years of age, was diagnosed with sepsis  and was treated with Cefepime. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cough, erythema, leukopenia, petechiae, prostration, pyrexia. Cefepime dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 22 years of age, was diagnosed with pneumonia , staphylococcal infection , antibiotic prophylaxis and was treated with Cefepime. During the same period patient was treated with CEFAZOLIN, CEFOXITIN, VANCOMYCIN, METRONIDAZOLE, IMIPENEM, TIGECYCLINE. Patient died.
