Cefepime side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Oct 14, 2008. Female patient, 78 years of age, weighting 215.4 lb, was diagnosed with urinary tract infection  and was treated with Cefepime. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac failure congestive, clostridium difficile colitis, urinary tract infection . Cefepime dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DIFLUCAN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arthritis bacterial, cardiac failure congestive, encephalopathy, overdose, renal failure. Cefepime dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DALACINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 01/26/2008.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asterixis, cardiac failure congestive, cardiopulmonary failure, hypoglycaemia, myoclonus, status epilepticus, toxic encephalopathy. Cefepime dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FUROSEMIDE, ADVAIR DISKUS, METOPROLOL, ARANESP, HEPARIN, OMEPRAZOLE, VANCOMYCIN, AMOXICILLIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
