Male patient, 20 years of age, was diagnosed with upper respiratory tract inflammation and was treated with Cefaclor. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: body temperature increased, dyspnoea, eosinophilic myocarditis, gastric ulcer, hepatic function abnormal, infection What is  infection, viral myocarditis, viral upper respiratory tract infection. Cefaclor dosage: unknown. Patient recovered.

Cefaclor side effect was reported by a Health Professional from on June 08, 2005. Male patient, 20 years of age, was diagnosed with upper respiratory tract inflammation and was treated with Cefaclor. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain upper, blood creatine phosphokinase increased, body temperature increased, cardiomegaly, dyspnoea, eosinophilic myocarditis, gastric ulcer, infection What is  infection, pericardial effusion. Cefaclor dosage: 1500 MG DAY. During the same period patient was treated with CEFAZOLIN, METILON, CEFMETAZON, FAMOTIDINE, PIPERACILLIN, HYOSCINE HYT. Patient recovered.
