Caspofungin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from SPAIN on Nov 21, 2005. Female patient, child 5 years of age, was diagnosed with febrile neutropenia and was treated with Caspofungin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aphasia What is  aphasia, blood bilirubin increased, blood pressure decreased, circumoral oedema, face oedema, graft versus host disease, hepatosplenomegaly, infusion related reaction, interstitial lung disease. Caspofungin dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Caspofungin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Aug 16, 2006. Male patient, 50 years of age, weighting 138.9 lb, was diagnosed with aspergillosis, bronchitis What is  bronchitis, lung infection pseudomonal and was treated with Caspofungin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: flushing, infusion related reaction. Caspofungin dosage: 50 MG DAILY IV DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with GENTAMICIN. Patient recovered.
