Caspofungin Side Effects Report #5140432-X
Caspofungin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Oct 26, 2006. Male patient, weighting 217.4 lb, was diagnosed with candida pneumonia and was treated with Caspofungin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: haematocrit decreased. Caspofungin dosage: 50MG DAILY IV. During the same period patient was treated with ACETAMINOPHEN, ALBUTEROL, BISACODYL, CYCLOSPORINE, DOCUSATE, FAMOTIDINE, FERROUS SULPHATE, FUROSEMIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
