Caspofungin side effect was reported by a Health Professional from SWITZERLAND on Feb 12, 2007. Female patient, 15 years of age, weighting 103.6 lb, was diagnosed with bronchopulmonary aspergillosis, acute lymphocytic leukaemia and was treated with Caspofungin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arthritis
, extraskeletal ossification, immobile, polyserositis, septic shock. Caspofungin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VORICONAZOLE, SULFAMETHOXAZOLE AND TRIMETHOPRIM, MERCAPTOPURINE, METHOTREXATE, INDOMETHACIN, ENOXAPARIN, OMEPRAZOLE. Patient recovered.
