Casodex Side Effects Report #4645459-X
Casodex side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Apr 15, 2005. Male patient, 89 years of age, weighting 88.18 lb, was diagnosed with prostate cancer  and was treated with Casodex. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac failure, condition aggravated, corynebacterium infection, herpes simplex , interstitial lung disease, pneumonia bacterial, renal failure chronic, sputum culture positive. Casodex dosage: 80 MG QOD PO. During the same period patient was treated with ZYLORIC, PLETAL, LASIX, GRAMALIL, BLOPRESS, ARICEPT, EBRANTIL. Patient died on 06/04/2004.

Male patient, 79 years of age, was diagnosed with prostate cancer , cerebral infarction, hypertension, benign prostatic hyperplasia, hyperuricaemia, acidosis, gastric ulcer and was treated with Casodex. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acidosis, condition aggravated, gastric ulcer, haemodialysis, hyperuricaemia, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary fibrosis , pulmonary tuberculosis. Casodex dosage: 80 MG DAILY PO. During the same period patient was treated with ZOLADEX, ASPIRIN, CINALONG, DIOVAN, HARNAL, SALOBEL, BICARBONATE, TAKEPRON. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 07/16/2004.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: condition aggravated, lung neoplasm malignant, metastases to lung, pyrexia, white blood cell count increased. Casodex dosage: 80 MG DAILY PO. During the same period patient was treated with LEUPLIN, INFLUENZA HA VACCINE. Patient died on 12/15/2004.

Casodex dosage: 80 MG DAILY PO. During the same period patient was treated with ZOLADEX, ASPIRIN, CINALONG, DIOVAN, HARNAL, SALOBEL, BICARBONATE IN PLASTIC CONTAINER, TAKEPRON. Patient died on 07/16/2004.
