Cartia side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Mar 01, 2006. Female patient, 67 years of age, was diagnosed with hypertension and was treated with Cartia. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: constipation , dizziness , dry eye, dry mouth, migraine with aura, tremor. Cartia dosage: 180 MG QDAY PO. During the same period patient was treated with CARTIA XT. Patient recovered.

Cartia side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on June 06, 2007. Female patient, 58 years of age, weighting 172.0 lb, was diagnosed with atrial tachycardia and was treated with Cartia. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: back pain , chest pain , dry eye, erosive oesophagitis, gastritis erosive, skin exfoliation, stevens-johnson syndrome, tracheal pain, troponin increased. Cartia dosage: 180MG ONCE A DAY PO. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
