Cartia side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Apr 05, 2005. Female patient, 76 years of age, was diagnosed with hypertension and was treated with Cartia. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aphonia, dehydration, erythema, feeling abnormal, heart rate increased, pain , pancreatic disorder, pyrexia, rash macular. Cartia dosage: 180MG PO QD. During the same period patient was treated with DILTIAZEM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal mass, alanine aminotransferase increased, aphonia, aspartate aminotransferase increased, bradycardia, cholelithiasis, dehydration, discomfort, electrocardiogram poor r-wave progression. Cartia dosage: 180MG PO QD. During the same period patient was treated with DILTIAZEM IMMEDIATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
