Carnitor side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Feb 21, 2006. Female patient, 14 years of age, weighting 202.4 lb, was diagnosed with mitochondrial encephalomyopathy and was treated with Carnitor. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: amenorrhoea, asthenia, benign intracranial hypertension, condition aggravated, depression
, headache
, intracranial pressure increased, lethargy, muscle disorder
. Carnitor dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MS CONTIN, TRAZODONE, MIRALAX, COENZYME Q, LEXAPRO, ZANAFLEX, NEXIUM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
