Carmustine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from on Mar 15, 2005. Male patient, weighting 192.5 lb, was diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme and was treated with Carmustine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: brain herniation, brain oedema, dyspnoea, glioblastoma multiforme, malignant neoplasm progression, pneumonia
, pneumonia aspiration. Carmustine dosage: 206 MG IV ONCE Q 6 WEEKS. During the same period patient was treated with TOPOTECAN, DILANTIN, LEXAPRO, DECADRON, ZANTAC, HYDROCODONE BITARTRATE, PHENERGAN, LEVAQUIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.Carmustine Side Effects Report #5227037-7

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, blood ph increased, chest discomfort, dilatation atrial, dilatation ventricular, dyspnoea, hypoxia, low cardiac output syndrome, lung neoplasm. Carmustine dosage: 225 MG. During the same period patient was treated with CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE, ETOPOSIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
