Carisoprodol side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on May 08, 2006. Male patient, 41 years of age, weighting 278.0 lb, was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and was treated with Carisoprodol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dyspnoea, hypersomnia, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, oedema, oedema peripheral, overdose, pitting oedema, pulmonary oedema. Carisoprodol dosage: 350 MG, Q6H PRN, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with FENTANYL, LASIX, LIPITOR, OXYCODONE, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, KLONOPIN. Patient died on 01/20/2006.

Carisoprodol dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with SUMATRIPTAN, NAPROXEN, CELECOXIB, VIOXX, DESLORATADINE, TOLTERODINE TARTRATE, MIRTAZAPINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
