Cardizem side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Mar 01, 2005. Female patient, 59 years of age, weighting 118.0 lb, was diagnosed with hypertension and was treated with Cardizem. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure inadequately controlled, chest pain , constipation , diarrhoea, oedema peripheral, renal failure, renal transplant, road traffic accident. Cardizem dosage: 30 MG TID PO. During the same period patient was treated with CARDIZEM CD, CARDIZEM LA, AVAPRO, INDERAL, LOPRESSOR, CATAPRES. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , anxiety , back pain , blood pressure increased, chest pain , chills, chromaturia, constipation , diarrhoea. Cardizem dosage: 240 MG Q DAY PO. During the same period patient was treated with COZAAR, LORAZEPAM, TOPROL, DILTIAZEM, CARDIZEM LA, CARDIZEM LA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain lower, blood cholesterol increased, blood triglycerides increased, cardiomegaly, carotid bruit, carpal tunnel syndrome , chest pain , constipation , convulsion. Cardizem dosage: (180 MG QD ORAL). During the same period patient was treated with ATENOL, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, TRAZODONE, PAXIL, AMBIEN, LORCET. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abnormal dreams, alopecia, arteritis, blood pressure increased, confusional state, constipation , dark circles under eyes, epistaxis, erythema. Cardizem dosage: 180 MG BID TAKES AT 3PM AND 9PM). During the same period patient was treated with TENORMIN, COUMADIN, TYLENOL. Patient recovered.
