Female patient, 75 years of age, was diagnosed with hypertension and was treated with Cardizem. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure fluctuation, depression , gingival swelling, hyperthyroidism. Cardizem dosage: 240 MG Q DAY PO. During the same period patient was treated with CARDIZEM CD, COZAAR, BENICAR, METHIMAZOLE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
