Cardizem Side Effects Report #4729314-2
Cardizem side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from BRAZIL on July 27, 2005. Female patient, 73 years of age, was diagnosed with hypertension, diabetes mellitus, confusional state and was treated with Cardizem. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arrhythmia , back pain , cerebrovascular accident, hyperglycaemia, ischaemia, nausea . Cardizem dosage: 90 MG/D. During the same period patient was treated with DAONIL, METFORMIN, MELLARIL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 07/17/2005.

Cardizem dosage: 240 MG Q DAY PO. During the same period patient was treated with COZAAR, LORAZEPAM, TOPROL, DILTIAZEM, CARDIZEM LA, CARDIZEM LA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
