Cardensiel Side Effects Report #5308952-2
Cardensiel side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from FRANCE on Apr 13, 2007. Male patient, 74 years of age, was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy , diabetes mellitus and was treated with Cardensiel. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrioventricular block first degree, bundle branch block left, heart rate decreased, hyperkalaemia, overdose, renal failure. Cardensiel dosage: 5 MG (5 MG, 1 D) ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ALDACTONE, KENZEN, LANTUS, PROXALYOC, LASIX, GEMFIBROZIL, METFORMIN, PREVISCAN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 87 years of age, was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation  and was treated with Cardensiel. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrioventricular block complete, bradyarrhythmia, bradycardia, malaise, overdose, vertigo. Cardensiel dosage: 5 MG (5 MG, 1 D), ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with DIGOXIN, FLECAINIDE ACETATE, NIFEDIPINE, RENITEC, LASIX, NITROGLYCERIN, PREVISCAN, POTASSIUM CHLORIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arthralgia, closed head injury, fall , hypoprothrombinaemia, international normalised ratio increased, overdose, periorbital haematoma, renal failure. Cardensiel dosage: 1,25 MG (1,25 MG, 1 IN 1 D) ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ALLOPURINOL, PREVISCAN, ZOCOR, CORDARONE, DIGOXINE NATIVELLE, LASILIX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with COUMADIN, LIPANTHYL, ZOLPIDEM, COLCHICINE, TRAMADOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
