Male patient, 80 years of age, was diagnosed with epidural anaesthesia and was treated with Carbocain. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: catheter site erythema, catheter site infection, extradural abscess, gastric ulcer haemorrhage, haemoglobin decreased, headache
, helicobacter infection, muscular weakness, purulence. Carbocain dosage: unknown. Patient recovered.
