Carbidopa Side Effects Report #5467768-7
Carbidopa side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Sept 19, 2007. Female patient, 55 years of age, weighting 99.21 lb, was diagnosed with parkinson's disease , depression  and was treated with Carbidopa. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: condition aggravated, dyskinesia, dystonia , hallucination, auditory, hallucination, visual, persecutory delusion. Carbidopa dosage: 500 MG, QID. During the same period patient was treated with PARLODEL, PRAMIVERINE HYDROCHLORIDE, NORITREN, CLONAZEPAM, AKINETON. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agitation, disorientation, hallucination, auditory, hallucination, tactile, hallucination, visual, persecutory delusion, psychotic disorder , somatic delusion, treatment noncompliance. Carbidopa dosage: 25 MG;TID;PO. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
