Carbidopa Side Effects Report #5708914-7
Carbidopa side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Apr 07, 2008. Male patient, 57 years of age, was diagnosed with parkinson's disease  and was treated with Carbidopa. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: delusion of replacement, fear, hallucination, visual, no therapeutic response, psychotic disorder . Carbidopa dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PRAMIPEXOLE DIHYDROCHLORIDE, BENZATROPINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 55 years of age, weighting 99.21 lb, was diagnosed with parkinson's disease , depression  and was treated with Carbidopa. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: condition aggravated, dyskinesia, dystonia , hallucination, auditory, hallucination, visual, persecutory delusion. Carbidopa dosage: 500 MG, QID. During the same period patient was treated with PARLODEL, PRAMIVERINE HYDROCHLORIDE, NORITREN, CLONAZEPAM, AKINETON. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: condition aggravated, dyskinesia, dystonia , hallucination, auditory, hallucination, visual, persecutory delusion. Carbidopa dosage: 500 MG, QID. During the same period patient was treated with PARLODEL, PRAMIVERINE HYDROCHLORIDE, NORITREN, CLONAZEPAM, AKINETON. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agitation, disorientation, hallucination, auditory, hallucination, tactile, hallucination, visual, persecutory delusion, psychotic disorder , somatic delusion, treatment noncompliance. Carbidopa dosage: 25 MG;TID;PO. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abnormal dreams, blood sodium decreased, dizziness , hallucination, hallucination, visual, hypotension, middle insomnia, somnolence. Carbidopa dosage: 25MG/100MG. During the same period patient was treated with COMTAN, OCUPRESS, LUMIGAN, MIRAPEX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
