Carbidopa side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Sept 23, 2006. Female patient, 63 years of age, was diagnosed with parkinsonism and was treated with Carbidopa. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aggression, delusion, overdose, paranoia, toxicologic test abnormal. Carbidopa dosage: 125 MG; QD; PO. During the same period patient was treated with CARBIDOPA AND LEVODOPA. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 63 years of age, was diagnosed with parkinsonism and was treated with Carbidopa. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aggression, agitation, anxiety , balance disorder, delusion, fear, movement disorder . Carbidopa dosage: 125 MG;QD;PO. During the same period patient was treated with CARBIDOPA AND LEVODOPA, WELLBUTRIN, ESCITALOPRAM, NEFAZODONE, HYDROCODONE. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 93 years of age, weighting 136.7 lb, was diagnosed with parkinson's disease  and was treated with Carbidopa. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agitation, delusion, depression , paranoia. Carbidopa dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with LEVOXYL, LASIX, TRIMETHOPRIM, DEPAKOTE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Carbidopa side effect was reported by a Physician from ISRAEL on June 17, 2008. Male patient, 78 years of age, was diagnosed with parkinson's disease  and was treated with Carbidopa. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agitation, anxiety , areflexia, bedridden, bladder sphincter atony, cardiac arrest , delusion. Carbidopa dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with LEVODOPA, SINEMET CR, JUNEX, AMANTADINE, DOPAMINE AGENTS. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient died.
