Carbatrol side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Apr 15, 2008. Female patient, 44 years of age, weighting 186.1 lb, was diagnosed with loss of control of legs, multiple sclerosis  and was treated with Carbatrol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hepatotoxicity, insomnia, nausea , off label use, optic neuritis. Carbatrol dosage: 200 MG, 1X/DAY:QD. During the same period patient was treated with REBIF, ADVIL, GABAPENTIN. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with TOPAMAX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
