Carafate side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Jan 13, 2005. Female patient, 58 years of age, weighting 200.6 lb, was diagnosed with gastrooesophageal reflux disease, breast cancer metastatic, pain , constipation , nausea  and was treated with Carafate. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bone disorder, oral candidiasis, osteonecrosis , tooth extraction. Carafate dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FEMARA, MS CONTIN, MS CONTIN, MOTRIN, PREVACID, SENOKOT, MIRALAX, ZOFRAN. Patient recovered.
