Captopril side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from CHINA on May 22, 2006. Male patient, 60 years of age, was diagnosed with hypertension and was treated with Captopril. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cerebrovascular accident, chest discomfort, dizziness , headache , hypertension, nausea . Captopril dosage: ON 13-FEB-2006, ADMININTERED CAPTOPRIL 6.25 MG BUCCAL SUBLINGUALLY. During the same period patient was treated with FLUNARIZINE, CHLOROTHIAZIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 02/13/2006.

Captopril dosage: 25 MG, TID, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with MODURETIC, SIMVASTATIN. Patient recovered.
