Captopril side effect was reported by a Physician from on Feb 16, 2005. Male patient, 54 years of age, was diagnosed with aortic valve replacement and was treated with Captopril. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: antinuclear antibody positive, arthralgia, cardiac murmur, chills, haemoglobinaemia, leukopenia, livedo reticularis, lupus-like syndrome, pyrexia. Captopril dosage: 25MG, TID, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN, COUMADIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
