Captopril side effect was reported by a Health Professional from NORWAY on Apr 19, 2007. Male patient, 80 years of age, weighting 194.0 lb, was diagnosed with nephrogenic anaemia, hypothyroidism and was treated with Captopril. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anti-erythropoietin antibody, aplasia pure red cell, peritonitis, pleural effusion, pneumonia . Captopril dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with EPREX, MINDIAB, FUROSEMIDE, DOXAZOSIN MESYLATE, LEVOTHYROXINE, ACETYLSALICYLIC ACID SRT, HYDROXYZINE, ATORVASTATIN CALCIUM. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anti-erythropoietin antibody positive, aplasia pure red cell, catheter related infection, peritonitis, pleural effusion, pneumonia . Captopril dosage: 12.5 MG. During the same period patient was treated with EPREX, CALCITROL. Patient recovered.
