Captohexal side effect was reported by a Physician from GERMANY on Oct 24, 2006. Female patient, 40 years of age, weighting 202.8 lb, was diagnosed with hypertension and was treated with Captohexal. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cholestasis, coagulopathy, hepatic necrosis, hepatotoxicity, liver disorder, varices oesophageal. Captohexal dosage: 50 MG, BID, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, METOHEXAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
