Capastat Side Effects Report #5253420-X
Capastat side effect was reported by a Physician from SOUTH AFRICA on Feb 16, 2007. Male patient, 57 years of age, weighting 83.78 lb, was diagnosed with tuberculosis  and was treated with Capastat. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: diarrhoea, hypokalaemia, vomiting. Capastat dosage: 750 MG, 5/W. During the same period patient was treated with PYRAZINAMIDE, ETHAMBUTOL HYDROCHLORIDE, ETHIONAMIDE, OFLOXACIN, TERIZIDONE, KANAMYCIN. Patient died on 01/20/2007.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: diarrhoea, hypokalaemia, vomiting. Capastat dosage: 750 MG, 5/W. During the same period patient was treated with PYRAZINAMIDE, ETHAMBUTOL HYDROCHLORIDE, ETHIONAMIDE, OFLOXACIN, TERIZIDONE, KANAMYCIN. Patient died on 01/20/2007.

Capastat side effect was reported by a Physician from FRANCE on Sept 12, 2005. Male patient, 26 years of age, weighting 154.3 lb, was diagnosed with tuberculosis  and was treated with Capastat. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: amyloidosis, anaemia, atrioventricular block second degree, nausea , sinus arrhythmia, syncope, vertigo. Capastat dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ZYVOX, DEXAMBUTOL, ZOPHREN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hypokalaemia, renal failure acute, vomiting. Capastat dosage: 1000 MG, DAILY (1/D). During the same period patient was treated with TERIZIDONE, ETHAMBUTOL HYDROCHLORIDE, PYRAZINAMIDE, ETHIONAMIDE, AUGMENTIN, EPILIM, LAMIVUDINE, EFAVIRENZ. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
